VN 4/17 - Unrighteousness
There's an old maxim that the end doesn't justify the means. In other words, no matter how admirable a goal may be, using improper means to attain it is never appropriate. This truth seems to be lost on ardent wind power supporters in Cohocton, including UPC Wind, its paid promoters and leaseholders, and our Town's elected and appointed officials, all of whom have taken the public posture that they are law-abiding, responsive to community concerns, and follow due process. But what does the record show? Read our article in this week's Valley News and then do whatever you can to become part of the solution.
Hi Bill,
I've been meaning to send you a note for a long time, so I'm finally getting around to it. Just wanted to send you a word of encouragement and a big 'thank you' for the work and effort you've been putting in your Updates web site. I know it's a lot of work but you are reaching and touching many. I appreciate it (and you).
We are all in this fight together and and you have risen up as one of our Champions, so keep up the charge and don't let up for a minute. We need your voice and Godly wisdom in these matters. The Righteous shall overcome! We shall overcome! This is a huge battle and we're not the only ones in it and we're not the only ones opposed to these monsters going up all over. Brother, I'm with you and behind you 100%. Keep on keeping on. God bless.
Steve
PS - Thanks for the special Easter thoughts. They were a blessing.
